Our Vision on Sustainable Business
For us, sustainability means more than just responsible use of materials. It’s about how we design, produce, collaborate, and think. All our decisions aim to create both ecological and economic value, now and in the future. That’s why we work with respect for people, animals, and the environment, choose materials with a low environmental impact, and actively commit to the reuse of raw materials. At the same time, we continuously seek ways to make our processes cleaner and more efficient.
Environment & Circular Economy
At the Interwinngroep, we organize our operations in accordance with the principles of the circular economy. This means minimizing waste, maximizing reusability, and designing products with a second life in mind. Residual materials are carefully sorted and disposed of. Wherever possible, these are reintegrated into our own supply chain.
Our wood and panel materials are certified according to the following standards:
- FSC® Certification: Ensures responsible forest management, globally verified by an independent organization, the Forest Stewardship Council.
- PEFC™ Certification: Provides assurance that wood products come from sustainably managed forests.
Safety, Health, and Responsible Working Practices
Our employees are the heart of our organization. That’s why we invest in safe, healthy, and fair working conditions. All of our mechanics and installers are VCA certified—a standard focused on reducing workplace risks and ensuring safe working environments for everyone.
At Interwinngroep, we operate with transparency. We comply with laws and regulations and take our responsibility as an employer seriously. We also create opportunities for people who face challenges entering the labor market. This is done within our own companies as well as through partnerships with social organizations.
